(NATIONAL SERVICE SCHEME):
NSS is an Indian Government Sponsored public service scheme conducted by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports of the Government of India.
The College has an NSS wing under which a wide range of activities is conducted. All the students of Namdapha Degree College, Miao are directed to enroll in NSS.
NSS provides the students an opportunity to understand the community and identify its needs and problems as well as the solution to the problems. NSS aims at arousing the social consciousness of the youth with an overall objective of personality development through the community.
