The College was inaugurated on the 25th of April 2018. This day marks the completion of the first Successful year of Namdapha Degree College Miao, Dist- Changlang Arunachal Pradesh. This College was inaugurated on 25th April 2018 by Honorable Chief Minister Shri Pema Khandu Ji in presence of Shri Honchun
Ngandam, Minister (Education), Shri Tapir Gao (State BJP President), and Shri Kamlung Mosang, Minister (Food & Civil Supply, Legal Metrology & Consumer affairs, UD & Housing Geology and Mining). The day is also very special as it is the
occasion of the very auspicious Tangsa Moh-Mol festival. The college started taking tremendous pains and efforts to bring high-quality higher education to the doorsteps of the economically weaker population of Changlang and nearby areas. During the very first year although the enrollment was only 57 the aspiration
and enthusiasm are never less. During this whole year, we celebrate Independence Day, Teacher’s day, fresher’s meet, sports meet, Republic day, and statehood day. The College team also participated in a football tournament at Miao general ground conducted by Scorpion club and emerged to be the best discipline team. The College recently started its skill development unit to train college provides free computers and aptitude classes to all enrolled as an additional factor so that when they pass out from college they know something more than others. The campus is under CCTV surveillance round the clock to keep a vigil on the students and passersby. We although in our infant stage are trying our level best to keep our promise of quality education and skill development along. The first semester results were also 70% which is at par with any other college affiliated with RGU. This year we shall be adding geography in addition to the existing BA course. We also did tree plantation in and around college as a gesture steps toward the global warming and climatic change. Namdapha Degree College Miao is also a member of ECO-CLUB. This is the brief report card of Namdapha Degree College, Miao on the successful completion of its one year. 
During covid days our NSS volunteers also did marking in front of Shops, banks, and ATMs to help denizens maintain social distance. We also distributed masks and sanitizers to the Local Administration the journey is still on and we have a long way to go.
